Hello everyone.

Wednesday night, my dad had a mild heart attack.  By all accounts he was recovering well, and he was scheduled to go home on Thursday.  He was even up and walking around the hospital today having visitors.  All seemed well, but sadly, he had a second attack and passed away this evening.

I am very sorry I can’t be with you the next two days before break.  Please do the best you can with your assignments until I get back, and please be kind to the sub.  I wish each of you a wonderful break.

Former El Dorado science teacher (and 2006 teacher of the year), Mr. Stoecklein aka McGyver, will be here in my place on Wednesday, April 4th. I will be on campus working on the possible “Digital Arts Academy” that El Dorado might be starting in the future.
